Yea!

Even though i enjoed this project im glad its over.

the most cahllenging part was picking a picture because i had trouble finding a picture and an artist that i would enjoy doing a presentation about. I think that i did good on the power point and it really helped me learn because i had to take notes and memorise the facts i had about him and about his life. I did not do very well for the blog assignments i just never really saw the point in doing them and how they fit in with this project. I think that this project should be taught 2 ninth graders because i gives us a good understanding of how humans relate to basically everything.

woops forgot to post 6 and 7. My research fits to gether very well, and my analysis of my art piece is very good i think.

I learned that one of Hokusias favorite subjects was mount Fuji. I am still having trouble understanding the point of this project though because I understand that being able to relate art to life is important, and I agree with you that we should do this project, but I don't think it has to be so complicated because what we are doing just feels like busy work.

I used google to find a picture of the print, but I found the print in a book that I have thats all about wood block printing. I am a little behind with this project because i had some real trouble picking a picture to do my project on, but I feel very confident that I will do a good job, and finish on time.

I finally deciced to do my project on Koshu Kajikazawa by Katsushika Hokusai. I don't really know if its a good picture for this project, but its one of the only pictures that I could find that I liked.
